There are a number of online ballistic calculators, and apps for your mobile device or even for your watch. But none of them really did what we wanted to do or had the flexibility we wanted. Such as unlimited max range or being able to break the range increments down to any size down to 1 yard/meter, or most specifically, one that would calculate the parallel-bore-zero for you. So, we decided to write our own. Introducing:
The Sniper Central Ballistics Calculator
Yes, it is only currently available on the web page and not an app, but you can bring it up on your mobile device and use it there. The technology is old school web based technology, but we just wanted to get it out there quick and then we’ll be making changes and improving it over time. We’ll incorporate new web technologies such as REST API in the coming months/years, as well as other features to the calculator itself, such as graphs, and improve UI. But for now, it is a bit ugly looking, but fully functional and ready for use…and like everything we do on SC, free! So click on the link and try it out and use it!
