Our Notes: PPU ammo has been fairly popular over the year, which is likely the result of their lower price. But as is seen in their performance in our tests, the ammo shoots pretty good. PPU makes all of their own components and the ammo is manufactured in Serbia where they have been making ammo for over 90 years now. Their BC is right in line with other match bullets in the 168gr class and it is not a ELD design which should allow it to shoot well in most firearms. Their good performance here surprised us and we’ll be looking at testing some of their other loads in the future as well.

  • The PPU velocities seemed to like the tighter chamber of the Bravo
  • We did not get any exceptional groups in the Bravo, but they were consistent

NOTE: “Accuracy with flyers” includes the raw averages including groups where the shooter called a bad shot before rechecking the placement of that shot. The “average without flyers” is the average group size with those “flyer” groups not added in.
