I’m not a experienced long range shooter. I know the American sniper is a special breed, way beyond my limitations! I am just learning use my “mid cost” vortex second plan scopes at 100 yd, but I would like to have the knowledge of how to make a Dope Sheet and use my scopes. I hunt hogs in Tx and very seldom do we get a shot over 150 yds. so i.e. the second focal plane have been my choice.
I used my U.S. Navy 10X4MM-Marine Submersible 200 meters , Mildot, 30MM. B & L Sniper Scope on my XM25 with SADLAC mount all Steel low mount & rings low four screws top with a one inch hex head size for tightening on picatiny rail. I made hits beyond one thousand meters regularly. I feel this nonsense about focal planes and ridiculous 34&35MM tube sizes are just too sell more scopesand products!!
